The aim of LVWSC is to promote the sport of Water skiing.
Whilst the Club is well equipped for tournament water skiers and runs a 3 round club championship in Slalom, Trick and Jump as well as several State and National tournaments each season, it caters well for all types of skiers whether recreational or competitive.
The club welcomes skiers of all levels from beginner to advanced.
Whether you are interested in having a go at the very addictive Slalom Course or the ski jump purely as a recreation pusuit or in competition, we have the facilies and the knowledge to help you improve your skills and your enjoyment of water skiing.
If you are purely interested in social skiing in a relaxed, family friendly and safe environment, the Latrobe Valley Waterski Club has a lot to offer.
The club is situated in the Halls Bay area of Lake Narracan and has dedicated control of the water on weekends, Wednesday afternoons, public holidays, tournaments and ski schools. The Club offers safe, quality time on the water for its members on two lakes.
The front lake has a permanent slalom course and jump ramp. The back lake is equipped with a floating Slalom Course and is also suitable for a variety of recreational uses.
The ski season operates from October through to Easter with a skiers list operating to ensure smooth running of ski days.
The club is one of a few Victorian Water ski clubs to have its own club boat, a Ski Nautique 196 with Zero Off speed control, which is available for members to ski behind. Members are also welcome to bring their own boat.
The club strives to continue its tradition of running numerous events throughout the season, which have included fun tournaments,
club tournaments, come and try days, Victorian Water ski Association tournaments, Australian Championships, Ski Schools and coaching clinics, Presentation Night and Social functions.
On site facilities include our clubhouse with toilets, showers, recreation area, kitchen and BBQ. There is asy to the boat ramp with a large parking area.
LVWSC offers single, family and student membership options, including a new non skiing social membership.
