December Ski School details.

It's official.  Current Slalom World Champion Joel Howley is coming to Latrobe!  You can see all the details and the booking link by clicking here.  Check out the link and get book your spot!  

LVWSC is now open! 

  • LVWSC is now back in action for the 2020/21 Season.  Members are now able to use the facilities.  The site has a COVID Safe plan in place, and only club members will be allowed on site when Halls Bay is closed off.  This includes the boat ramp.  Halls Bay will now be closed when members are on site during closed water times.  These are:

  • Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays - Sun Rise to 6pm

  • Wednesdays - 12pm to Sunset

November 2020 

  • Season 2020/21 has started.  Closed water times permitted until 30 April 2021 are:

  • Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays - Sun Rise to 6pm

  • Wednesdays - 12pm to Sunset

  • Please note during tournament or ski school periods, Halls Bay may be closed at additional times

December 2020

  • Monday 14 - Friday 18 December - Ski school with current World Champion Joel Howley

  • Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 December - 3 Round Slalom Tournament

January 2021

  • Saturday 9th January - Come and try day with coaching from an accredited TWSV coach

  • Sunday 10th January - Club Tournament

  • Sunday 17th January - Rating Tournament.  Practice sets available to competitors Saturday 16th PM

Formed over 50 years ago, the Latrobe Valley Water Ski Club has built itself to be Victoria's premier water ski facility and one of the best in the country.  The club has hosted State and National title tournaments, in addition to hosting the world's best skiers for the Latrobe Invitational Open.  The club hosts ski schools and has facilities for everyone from beginners to tournament skiers.

Members have access to allocated time on 2 world record capable lakes of private water during closed water times to enjoy in a safe and supportive environment.
